Not only is it a major transportation hub and the capital of the state of Georgia, it’s a vibrant and diverse city offering a plethora of opportunities for employment, education, and entertainment.

Georgia is home to 33 private and 30 public colleges and universities. Atlanta is home to Georgia State University, Emory University, Clark Atlanta University, Spelman College, Morehouse College, Georgia Institute of Technology, Agnes Scott College, Life University, Georgia Piedmont Technical College, Kennesaw State University, and Oglethorpe University to name a few. UGA and GA Tech are rated within the top 20 universities in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report (2023). The city also has a strong public school system and many private school options.
Culture & Entertainment
Atlanta boasts a vibrant arts, entertainment, and culture scene with many museums, galleries, theatres, concert venues, restaurants, and shopping options. We are home to the Atlanta Falcons, World Champion Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta Hawks. If you’re into college football, you can check out the national champs in Athens about an hour or so away. We’re also only about four hours away from the coast and a couple of hours to the mountains.
Climate
We outside!! Atlanta has a very mild climate with relatively warm temperatures most of the year. Disclaimer: it is humid and hot during the summer, but we rarely ever experience extreme weather incidents like tornadoes.
